LA Kitchens began 25 years ago with a family recipe and a love of all things food.

Founded by Leigh Ann DeLaney, a longtime Fairhope resident, LA Kitchens grew from time spent in the kitchen alongside her grandmother and mother, making the same beloved cheese straws her family has enjoyed for generations.

Inspired by those moments, Leigh Ann pursued a degree in Nutrition & Food Science and became a Registered Dietitian—turning a lifelong passion into a purpose. For the past 25 years, she’s been sharing her signature cheesy treats with families near and far.
